Disneyland!

We heart Disneyland! Honestly, we were a bit worried how Rya would handle three days in the park with little rest and lines for rides, but she was a trooper! We drove down on Saturday and stayed with our friends, The Gurnees, near Magic Mountain. It was nice to have the trip somewhat broken up. Rya had a fun time playing with Hunter who is just a month younger than her.

We left early Sunday morning to meet the rest of my family at the hotel across from Disneyland. Rya loves her cousins, Emily and Grace, and was very excited to see them. Rya had been yelling excitedly about Disneyland for the week before the trip, so she was ready to go to the park!

The walk was about 1/2 a mile and she did it everyday. Plus, she walked around the park at least half the time. We couldn't believe her stamina! No naps happened on Sunday or Monday, but she did sleep for a little bit on Tuesday while we were waiting in line for Dumbo.

Christmas at Disneyland makes it more magical than it normally is- if that's possible. Here's a picture of Small World at night all lit up. We watched the fireworks at night while it snowed (bubbles).
Hello, cuteness!
The castle is pretty during the day and at night with all the lights! The Gurnees met us on Tuesday for a day of fun in the park!
Rya loves stuffed friends, so she wanted a stuffed Minnie Mouse and a Tiny Mickey.
Tigger!
Main Street!
Rya's favorite ride, Dumbo! We rode it about 10 times!
Tea cups! Rya loved this ride and yelled for us to spin faster. Crazy girl.
This was the scene each night when we returned. No naps= tired, tired baby!
It's a Small World! Rya was very taken with all the Christmas decorations on the ride.
Another friend, Pluto! Jason thought it was Goofy. Silly, Jason.
I love the rocket ride at California Adventure!
Rya loved all the characters, but none as much as she loved Minnie.
The girls in their matching outfits from Grandma Linda.
She seriously held this pose for a few seconds. Who doesn't love a churro?
Ah, the family! We are so lucky to have a generous mom/grandma/mother-in-law who took us on this family vacation as a Christmas gift. It was an amazing experience for Rya to see Disneyland and have her cousins with her. Thank you, thank you, Mom/Linda/Grandma Linda!
