Christmas

This year was Rya's third Christmas, but the first one she was really able to enjoy. We started Christmas Eve with our tradition of Chinese food with Grandma Linda and the first round of gifts. Rya was so cute with each gift- wanting to play with each thing she opened.

The next morning we were joined by Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Lazar. Rya opened more gifts and then we took a break while we waited for Chandra and the rest of the Herzogs to arrive. Jason and I went to Sac State for a little stair workout after feeling the guilt of eating so much Monkey Bread that morning. Rya was very excited to see her cousins and had a fun time with them as they all opened gifts. Santa and the rest of his helpers brought Rya a new play kitchen, a Bitty Baby, a doctor kit, accessories for her kitchen, a suitcase, an umbrella, clothes, and many other toys I can't remember at the moment. She was so thrilled with all of her gifts she tried to take them all to bed with her! Silly kid. She finished opening her gifts on the 26th as we put away all the Christmas decorations.
